20210809 -【Dislocation of the femoral head】A British Shorthair cat, THR surgery successfully

A British Shorthair cat, called Duoqian, 7 months old, male, 3.2kg, suffered from a comminuted fracture between the femoral condyles and a dislocation of the femoral head due to a fight with a Shiba Inu. During the surgery, The double BlueSAO PRCL-5.0mm locking plates was used for fixation of intercondylar fractures, and the φ1.5 cortical screws were used to fix the articular surface.

The BlueSAO Micro and Nano THR system was selected for the THR surgery. Implants: φ12mm cemented cup, 2# cemented femoral stem, and 8mm (+0) femoral head. The surgery was very successful, and we hope to recover as soon as possible!
