A Border Collie, 8 years
old, male (castrated), 21kg. He suffered
from traumatic hip dislocation. It was decided to perform a total hip
replacement surgery using BlueSAO biological hip joint replacement system.
Precise surgical planning was carried out using BlueSAO iBlueVet software prior
to the surgery. The implants: 22mm biological cup, 13 mm (+3) femoral
head, 5# biological femoral
stem and a 16mm lateral bolt. The surgery was successful and we look forward to
his speedy recovery!
