Today is the second day of the “Massimo Deformity Correction Masterclass” course in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and also the last day. The entire day is hands-on practice sessions. Colleagues from the BlueSAO Malaysia team arrived early at the venue to prepare all the practical tools! The first session is a super brain-burning surgical planning practical course! Surgical planning is extremely important for high-difficulty surgeries. The participating doctors from various countries formed groups of three to carefully plan, analyze, and discuss. Teacher Massimo from Italy, along with Dr. Zhou Luoping, Dr. Kiew, and Dr. Lee from China and Malaysia, served as the hands-on instructors, providing detailed guidance for everyone!

After the forelimb deformity correction surgery planning was completed, Teacher Massimo summarized and answered questions about the issues that appeared in the surgical plan. Then, Teacher Massimo conducted a teaching demonstration of the deformity correction surgery on the forelimb bone model according to the preoperative plan. After the demonstration and explanation, the group hands-on practice began. Teacher Massimo explained to everyone why they should work in groups of three: because deformity correction requires repeated practice, three people working together can perform the procedure on three bone models. Mistakes might occur during the first practice, which can be corrected in the second practice, and the third practice should strive for perfection!

The Massimo masterclass courses are highly challenging and demanding, so every student is very attentive and careful during the hands-on practice, asking questions about any doubts they encounter until fully clarified. The teachers are also extremely patient in providing guidance. The entire practical session lasted from morning until nearly four in the afternoon. During the lunch break, everyone took some time to take a group photo. After the afternoon practice, Teacher Massimo went to each group individually to give feedback on each group's practical models.

The exciting graduation certificate awarding ceremony has begun. Every doctor from the participating countries was very satisfied with this course. Everyone eagerly received their course completion certificates from their idol, Professor Massimo, and happily took photos with him. General Manager Zhang from BlueSAO presented Professor Massimo with the honorary certificate of course instructor, thanking him for delivering such an outstanding course to everyone!

We thought the course was over, but everyone was still eager for more, so Teacher Massimo conducted nearly an hour of case analysis and clinical experience sharing! All the attending doctors listened carefully and, at the end of the class, they all expressed to us that this course was very worthwhile and they would come again next time!
