Following the successful conclusion of the first international course on total hip replacement (THR) in the UK, today, Darlington in the UK has ignited another academic wave with the first BlueSAO personalized biological sliding groove replacement (PGR) orthopedic training session. This one-day professional training attracted a new group of veterinarians from all over the UK to gather in Darlington for another grand learning feast where knowledge and practice blend deeply. The training was conducted by two renowned Chinese veterinary orthopedic instructors, Dr. Zhou Luoping and Dr. Zhou Qianlan, whose engaging classroom lectures and meticulous hands-on guidance shared extensive orthopedic knowledge and clinical experience, earning unanimous praise from attending UK veterinary peers! After the theoretical course ended, the highly anticipated practical course on bone models officially began. Dr. Zhou Luoping and Dr. Zhou Qianlan provided detailed demonstrations of bone model teaching related to the old screw-fixed PGR system and the latest press-fit biological PGR system. Every aspect, from instrument operation standards to key surgical steps, was explained precisely and demonstrated according to standards.After the demonstration, the doctors on-site quickly entered the practical phase, forming groups to carry out practical operations on both the old and new press-fit biological PGR systems. On real bone models, they transformed their learned knowledge into clinical skills, deepening their understanding of the characteristics of different PGR systems in practice, creating an atmosphere rich in academic research and technical exchange.
The most anticipated hands-on session has arrived as promised! The veterinarians on site are enthusiastic and eagerly headed to the practical training room. First, the Bailu lecturer team, Dr. Zhou Luoping and Dr. Zhou Qianlan, demonstrated practical skills based on their rich clinical experience and exquisite techniques, clearly presenting every operational detail to the attending doctors.After the demonstration, the participating British veterinarians quickly formed groups and immersed themselves in hands-on practice with great enthusiasm, deeply integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical practice.
