A Welsh Corgi dog, called JK, 5 years old, female, 18 Kg. She had been experiencing gradual weakness in her hind limbs for the past 6 months. The pet owner took her to several hospitals and then came to our hospital. On examination, the dog was found to have laxity of the bilateral tarsal joints, and no other signs of joint damage. The BlueSAO PRCL®-8mm titanium locking plate was used for bilateral tarsal arthrodesis during the surgery. The hind limbs could walk vigorously after surgery.
