A Pomeranian, 2 years old, female, 2.46kg, suffered from grade 3dislocationof left patellaand grade 4dislocationof right patella.The patella cannot return to the patellar groove. She had severe internal rotation of the joint.
In order to improve animal welfare and surgical cure rate, the surgery was finally chosen to be performed using the BlueSAO Patellar Groove Replacement(PGR) System. The BlueSAO PGR-2 prosthesis was used for the replacement during the surgery. The surgery went well and we look forward to a speedy recovery.
