Lucy, a 2-year-old female British Shorthair cat. The cat had bilateral hip dysplasia causing hip arthritis. The pet owner brought her to Shanghai PEACE UNION VETERINARY SERVICE for hip replacement surgery.
Imaging performed prior to surgery allowed observation of subluxation and increased acetabular density in both hips, with more obvious subluxation in the right side. Preoperative planning was carried out using iBlueVet software. This surgery was planned using a 12mm acetabular cup, a 3# femoral stem, and an 8mm femoral head.
