A clinical case of cemented total hip replacement surgery in a Pomeranian

A Pomeranian, named Xiaozhu, 4 years old, female, 4 Kg. About one year ago the dog developed walking abnormalities. It was found to have bilateral hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis. The pet owner chose a hip replacement. We performed a total hip replacement using BlueSAO cemented Micro&Nano Hip system.

Implants: 12mm cemented cup, #1 cemented femoral stem, and 8mm (+0) femoral head. The surgery went well and the postoperative recovery was good!
