HyProtect-PRCL-S-Old Femoral and Tibial Fractures in Wandering Cats

A stray cat, name: Xiao huakan, one-year-old, female (sterilized), weight 3.1 kg.

Medical history: Both femur and tibia have signs of deformed healing after old fractures. So much so that the bones are now deformed. Unfortunately, recently a second fracture of the tibia occurred unexpectedly. With old secondary fractures, bone healing after surgical repair is very difficult and lengthy. Therefore, our team used BlueSAO HyProtect-PRCL® 6.5mm silver ion antibacterial bone plate for internal fixation intraoperatively. We also implanted BlueSAO S-VETOSS artificial bone imported from Canada, which can stimulate bone production and healing quickly. The surgery was successful and we hope for a speedy recovery!
