A little poodle, 4 months old, male, 0.7kg, fell down from master's arms, caused a radial distal fracture, because of the radial diameter is just 3.3mm, we used BlueSAO PRCL-3.5mm locking plate fixing it, and also limited his movements after surgery.

Considering that the growth plate of puppy is not closed, this fixationacrossthe distal radial growth plate will affect bone growth, so we should remove the bone plate early. Thirty days later, the little guy totally recoveried, and the plate had been removed.

The basic data of the dog:

A Poodle,male,4 months old,0.7kg,fell down from master's arms accidentally,causedthe left fore limb pain and lameness.

The results of clinical examination:The dog was unwilling to move.There was no pain in the wrist joint and no wound inleft fore limb.When we palpated the elbow joint, no abnormality was seen.In other respects we have not seen abnormality.

Imaging examination:

Diagnosis result: fracture of left distal radius.
