Breed: Golden Shaded British Shorthair, 7 months
old, male, 3.9kg
Medical history: suffered from fracture of left
distal femur and luxation of hip joint due to jumping from a building. We
firstly adopted the BlueSAO PRCL® locking plate system for dual
plate internal fixation of the distal femur, and then did the THR surgery by
using a #2 stem, a φ12mm cup and a φ8mm (+0) head of BlueSAO Micro & Nano
Hip Replacement System for total hip replacement (THR).
The cat was able to walk normally soon after surgery and best wishes for an early recovery.
