A Belgian Malinois, female, 3 months old. Before been adopted, her radius and ulna were broken by the bicycle wheel, caused a radial-ulnar fracture. It’s obvious that the bone was fixed incorrectly in first surgery, the skin was sutured with a steel wire, causing malformed healing. Her new master sent her to our hospital and chose second surgery to repair it. Because there was infection exist, we chose to re-cut the radius and ulna, removed excess callus, and preserved the cancellous boneto fill the missing part of ulna after the radius corrected. We fixed it with double plates, the plate on cranial side was a BlueSAO HyProtect-PRCL-M antimicrobial plasma coating locking plate.
