A golden retriever, 10 months old, male, 35.5kg,

suffered from a lameness in the right hind limb for over 2 months, and a drawer test was performed with positive results. DR imaging showed significant anterior tibial tilt and elevated intra-articular density in the knee, which was diagnosed as the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament of the right hind limb. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVetto determine the TPA angle to be 26°. We performed the surgery by using the BlueSAO TPLO-10.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate for fixation with a 24mm saw blade and a movement distance of 8mm.The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.

Thanks to Dr. Chi Xinyu (Northeastern Agricultural University Veterinary Teaching Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO TPLO locking plate system.
