20240319- [Rupture of Cranial Cruciate Ligament] A Pomeranian Mix, Fixed with TPLO-S System Successfully

A Pomeranian mix, 6 years old, female, 11kg.

The dog suffered from a sudden lameness in the right hind limb at home in January. A cruciate ligament injury was suspected after clinic visit, and she improved on oral NSAIDs. However, a few days ago, she was completely unable to walk on her hind limbs and was diagnosed with a complete rupture of cranial cruciate ligament on X-ray examination, and was therefore brought to our hospital to undergo a TPLO surgery. She was fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-6.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate for internal fixation. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.
