20240711- [Rupture of Cranial Cruciate Ligament] A Bichon Frise, Fixed with TPLO-S System Successfully

A Bichon Frise, 2 years old, male, 4.5kg,was found to be lameness and unable to land on his right hind limb suddenly at home, and was brought to the hospital. X-rayswere taken to confirm the diagnosis of a rupture of cranial cruciate ligament with a TPA of up to 38 degrees. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. He was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate. The dog is recovering well from the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
