20181230 -【Wrist arthrodesis】A dog, fixed with HyProtect-PRCL-M antimicrobial plasma coating plate system successfully

A dog, one year old, 11kg, suffered from left wrist recurved, skin ulcer and soft tissue atrophy when he was founded. We also found that his wrist was very hard. We thought that he had a growth plate fracture of distal radial when he was a child, leading to a deformity of the wrist. We did wrist arthrodesis by using the BlueSAO HyProtect-PRCL-M9mm antimicrobial plasma coating locking plate. The MicroSilver antimicrobial plasma coatings come from German Bio-Gate company. This antimicrobial plasma coating can release Ag+( silver ion) in body more than 100 days for resisting infection.
