20241225- [Rupture of Cranial Cruciate Ligament] A Bichon Frise, Fixed with TPLO-S System Successfully

A bichon frise, 5years old, male, 7kg, suffered from the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament due to traumatic injury and was tested positive for a drawer test. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery. Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet, and the dog's ligament was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-5.5mm L-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery. The result of immediate postoperative tibial thrust test is negative. The dog is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
