A Welsh Corgi dog, nickname: Bobo, 4 years old, male, 13.3kg,presented with a lameness in the left hind limb at the beginning of December 2024, and was brought to our hospital after being fed analgesics for 2 weeks with no significant improvement. Examination showed partial rupture of the left cranial cruciate ligament, so Bobo’s owner opted for a THR surgery. The dog’s ligament was internally fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-6.5mm L-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery was completed successfully. This dog was walking almost normally 3 days after surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
Thanks to Dr. Yuan Shuai (Chongqing Rufei Animal Hospital) for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO TPLO locking plate system.
