Case 329: A Clinical Case Sharing of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System in a Poodle by Dr. Zhang Bowen from Chengdu Mayo Animal Hospital

A poodle, 10 months old, female, 1.9kg,suffered from a femoral head injury with physeal avulsion one month ago, which later developed into femoral head necrosis. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery on this dog. Accurate operative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. We did the hip replacement surgery by using a φ11mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ8mm+2 femoral head, and a #1 cemented femoral stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System for replacement. The surgery was successfully completed. A follow-up examination one month later revealed significant muscle changes and excellent mobility, with an astonishing recovery speed!
