20250411- [Radial Fracture] A Bichon Frise, Fixed with PRCL-M System for Internal Fixation Successfully

A bichon frise, 2 years old, male, 8kg,was presented for medical attention due to a radial fracture. The skin at the site of external fixation was infected as a result of the ulceration of the paw mat. There was also damage to the radial nerve, and the tendon of the extensor carpi radialis muscle was ruptured and retracted. It was therefore decided to perform an internal fixation surgery for treatment. BlueSAO PRCL®-8mm pure titanium locking plate was adopted for internal fixation. In addition, tendon transplantation was conducted. The surgery was completed successfully. The dog is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
