20250520- [Rupture of Cranial Cruciate Ligament] A Bernese Mountain Dog, Fixed with TPLO-L System for Internal Fixation Successfully

A Bernese Mountain dog, nickname: Pidan, 2 years old, female, 48kg,suffered from a lameness in the left hind limb for one and a half years, with reduced weight-bearing. Obvious muscle atrophy in the left hind limb has formed a distinct medial knee support; a knee drawer test was performed with positive results, and X-ray showed knee joint effusion and tibial migration, based on which the dog was diagnosed with the rupture of cranial cruciate ligament. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO surgery.

Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet, and the dog's ligament was fixed with BlueSAO TPLO-11.5mm L-type pure titanium locking plate for internal fixation.The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog is recovering well from the surgery.
