Case No. 479: Dr. Li Yongqi of Tianjin Panda Animal Hospital – Micro Biomimetic Cemented Total Hip Replacement with BlueSAO Implants in a Shiba Inu

Shiba Inu, pet name: Cola, 3 years old, male, body weight 12 kg.

The dog was diagnosed with canine hip dysplasia and scheduled for total hip replacement surgery. The BlueSAO Micro biomimetic cemented hip system was adopted intraoperatively. Selected implants: 15 mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, 12 mm +2 femoral head, Size #2.5 cemented femoral stem. The surgery was performed successfully. Wish the patient a rapid recovery!
