Case 482: Clinical Case Report of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Arthroplasty in a Golden Retriever by Dr. Du Youwei, Hefei Hengxing Animal Hospital

Patient: 2-year-and-5-month-old intact male Golden Retriever, weighing 31 kg.

The dog sustained traumatic right hip dislocation. Recurrence occurred two months after closed reduction, and hip arthroplasty was therefore indicated.
The BlueSAO Bionic Hip System was implanted during surgery. Implant selection: 27 mm bionic acetabular cup, 22 mm PEEK femoral head, Size 6 biologic femoral stem, M+0 femoral neck.
The procedure was completed uneventfully. The patient has shown rapid postoperative recovery; wishing a full recovery soon!
