Stunning Campinas! The BlueSAO Brazil Total Hip Replacement (THR) training session has successfully concluded!

On June 12, 2026, in Campinas, São Paulo, known as the 'Silicon Valley of Brazil’s interior,' the three-day BlueSAO Biologic Total Hip Replacement (THR) hands-on training kicked off! This is the first time Balu is holding a THR training in Brazil, with 16 veterinarians from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Venezuela attending.

Day One

This session of the BlueSAO BaiLu Bio-Total Hip Replacement (THR) training took place at the Invetsupport Veterinary Orthopedic Training Base in Campinas. The instructors were Dr. Zhou Luoping from China and Dr. Giuseppe from Peru. The morning theory class began with their wonderful lectures.

At noon, in the base's little cafeteria~ the always-smiling chef auntie slow-cooked a pot of authentic local black bean pork ribs for everyone using a pressure cooker. The rich, savory aroma filled the air, and paired with a fresh salad and fruit, the taste was just perfect!

After a short lunch break, everyone immediately jumped into the afternoon sessions. This hands-on class focused on orthopedic model practice. First, Dr. Giuseppe introduced the names and usage of the Bailu Bionic Hip System tools. Then, Dr. Zhou Luoping gave a full live demonstration of the standard surgical procedure. Once the demonstration was over, the doctors quickly split into groups to get hands-on practice. The learning atmosphere was lively, with everyone eager to learn, and the instructors guided them carefully, step by step.

After the dry hands-on session, we immediately moved on to the preoperative planning course. The attending doctors were fully focused, preparing complete plans for the hands-on course the next day. The fulfilling learning time flew by, and the first day of the course came to a successful close with lots of gains~

Day Two

The next day's sessions focused mainly on hands-on practice. Before the practical exercises, Teacher Zhou Luoping gave a detailed explanation of the theoretical steps involved. Afterwards, he teamed up with Dr. Giuseppe to demonstrate the procedures for everyone. Once the demonstration was over, all participants split into groups and dove into full-day hands-on practice. The practice intensity was at its peak, making it the most rewarding day of the entire training. All attending doctors praised the excellent performance of the BAILU Bionic Hip Replacement System during the hands-on sessions!

Day Three

The third day, also the last day of this training session, Dr. Zhou Luoping and Dr. Giuseppe went through the X-rays from the hands-on group exercises from the previous day, giving comments one by one. All the attending doctors gained a deeper understanding of the key points of THR surgery through their feedback. The three-day THR course is coming to an end, and the exciting graduation certificate ceremony has begun! The room erupted in applause as everyone joined in celebrating their fellow participants, and congratulating themselves for completing all the training courses successfully and graduating smoothly.

Time together flies by in the blink of an eye, and parting leaves us full of reluctance. In just three short days of training, everyone has built deep friendships, and many stopped to take photos, capturing these wonderful moments. This course has successfully come to an end!
