20240508- [Fracture of Distal Radius and Ulna] A Poodle, Fixed with PRCL-S System for Internal Fixation Successfully

A Poodle, 10 years old, male, 2.3kg,

was brought to the hospital as he was afraid to land on its left forelimb after jumping on the sofa at home. X-rays were taken to confirm the diagnosis of a fracture of the distal radius and ulna of the left forelimb. As such, we decided to perform the internal fixation surgery. He was fixed with BlueSAO PRCL®-5.5mm pure titanium T-type locking plate for internal fixation. The dog resumed walking two days after surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
