20240421- [Rupture of Cranial Cruciate Ligament] A Bichon Frise, Fixed with TPLO-S System Successfully

A Bichon Frise, 8 years old, male (castrated), 13.6kg,

suffered from a lameness in the right hind limb for about three days. On physical examination, the drawer test of the right knee joint was unremarkable, with X-ray showing anterior tibial translation. As such, we decided to perform a TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) surgeryby fixing it with BlueSAO TPLO-6.5mm R-type pure titanium locking plate. The surgery lasted for 80 minutes and was completed successfully. Best wishes for an early recovery.
