A Shiba Inu, 4 years old, female, 11kg, suffered from hip dysplasia and luxation of femoral head due to traumatic injury. As such, we decided to perform a THR. Intraoperatively, we adopted a φ15mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ12mm+2 femoral head, and a #2.5 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Joint Systemfor replacement. The surgery was completed successfully. Immediate postoperative luxation testing showed stable results, and the dog is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery.
