A five-red dog (a species of Chinese rural dog), 9.5 months old, male, 18kg,suffered from dorsal luxation of femoral head, ‌grade IV right patellar luxation and grade II left patellar luxation due to bilateral hip dysplasia. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery with PGR on this dog.

Intraoperatively, BlueSAO Biological Hip Joint System and Press-Fit Biological PGR Systemwere used for replacement, with implants inlcuding φ21mm bionic cup, φ16mm PEEK femoral head, #5 biological stem, M+0 femoral neck, φ18mm side bolt, and press-fit biological PGR #8 implant used. The surgery was completed successfully. The cat is recovering quickly thanks to the minimal damage from this surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
