A Samoyed dog, 7 years old, female (neutered), 21.9kg,suffered from lameness in the hind limb, which was diagnosed as hip degenerative lesion. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery on this dog.Accurate preoperative planning was made by BlueSAO iBlueVet. We did the surgery by using a φ21mm bionic cup, a φ16mm PEEK femoral head, a #5 biological stem, and an M+0 femoral neck of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System for replacement.

This hip replacement surgery was performed by Dr. Shao Yusong (Shenyang Haohao Pet Hospital) in collaboration with Dr. Li Dapeng (Shenyang RINGPAI Pet Hospital). The surgery was completed successfully, and the dog could go out for a walk on the second day after the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
