·Breed: Border Collie, nickname: healer Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (sterilized) Weight: 17.4 Kg it hada limp in itsleft hind limb. Itwas visited a local hospital and was suspected of having a torn anterior cruciate ligament. After about two weeks of rest, there was some improvement, but the limp was still obvious after getting up and running fast. The clinical examination of the knee joint drawer test was negative. No abnormalities were found in the patella, the sole of the foot or the tarsus joint. DR Did not show any hip joint abnormalities. There was a certain degree of muscle atrophy in the affected limb. During the operation, a new arthroscopic device from BlueSAOwas used for further examination, and it was confirmed that there was a partial tear of the medial branch of the anterior cruciate ligament in the head. It was decided to undergo TPLO surgery for treatment. During the operation, the BlueSAO TPLO-8.5 mm L pure titanium locking bone plate was selected for internal fixation. The operation was successfully completed and the postoperative recovery is good. I hope itwill recover soon! Thank you very much to Teacher Du Lang from Kunming Hengjia Pet Hospital for sharing the clinical case of BlueSAO arthroscopy!
·Summary: Arthroscopy has obvious advantages in the early diagnosis and confirmation of partial anterior cruciate ligament tears. Arthroscopy, as the gold standard for diagnosing the anterior cruciate ligament, plays a significant role and has obvious advantages in cases that cannot be confirmed by early clinical examination. This case was diagnosed through arthroscopy, providing clear instructions and confidence for clinicians in diagnosis and surgical prognosis. Facing the difficult problem of claudication that is hard to diagnose, BlueSAO arthroscopy breaks the diagnostic deadlock.
·As the "third sharp eye" in clinical diagnosis and treatment, it uses minimally invasive exploration to delve into the minute details of joints, precisely capturing clues of lesions and dispelling the thick fog of scientific diagnosis and treatment.
