Case No. 474: Dr. Zhou Luoping from Shanghai Baicui Animal Hospital - ase Sharing of Bionic Hip Joint System for Shiba Inu!

Shiba Inu, nickname: Mido, 4 years old, male, weight11 kilograms.

Since childhood, he has suffered from hip joint dysplasia. In the past month, his hip joint has been in severe pain and he refuses to sit down. An X-ray examination revealed severe hip joint hyperplasia and flattened hip. Therefore, a hip joint replacement surgery was decided. During the operation, the BlueSAOBionic THR system was used for replacement. The implants included: 15mm bionic acetabular cup， 12mm PEEK femoral head, #3biological femoral stem, and S+4 femoral neck. The surgery was successfully completed, and the patient recovered quickly after the operation. That night, he was able to walk naturally with no weight-bearing restrictions.
