Breed: Five-red dog (a species of Chinese rural dog)

Weight: 18kg

The dog suffered from dorsal luxation of femoral head, ‌grade IV right patellar luxation and grade II left patellar luxation due to bilateral hip dysplasia. The dog recently underwent the right PGR surgery and hip replacement surgery, with excellent recovery. Now, we decided to perform a left PGR surgery on the dog.

During the surgery, the BlueSAO Press-Fit Biological PGR System with a press-fit biological #8 implantwas used for replacement. The surgery was successfully completed with minimal damage, ensuring a fast recovery. The dog was able to normally lift the limb to urinate and defecate 10 days after the surgery.
